FounderBahram Jadidi
Bahram Jadidi is the founder of Adaptive Plays and a lifelong advocate for inclusive recreation, physical education, and active living for people of all abilities.
With more than 37 years of experience teaching, training, researching, and developing adaptive recreation programs, Bahram has dedicated his career to helping individuals with visual impairments, physical disabilities, and exceptional needs participate more fully in sports, recreation, and community life.
Based in Ontario, Canada, Bahram continues to work with schools, community organizations, families, and recreation professionals to develop innovative equipment and services that make physical activity more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Education & Research
Bahram holds a PhD in Physical Education, specializing in recreation and physical activity for individuals with visual impairments.
His academic research has focused on improving quality of life through meaningful participation in recreation and sport, including:
• Doctoral Thesis: Optimal Leisure Time for Individuals with Visual Impairment (IVI)
• Master's Research: Designing Embossed Sports Picture Booklets for Individuals with Visual Impairment
His extensive research background continues to guide the development of Adaptive Plays products and programs today.

Throughout his career, Bahram has combined academic research with practical innovation, transforming ideas into equipment and solutions that create real opportunities for participation.
His work has been recognized through numerous honors.

Bahram's innovations have been recognized and published internationally and approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Industrial and Scientific Research Organization in Iran.

• Embossed Sports Pictures for Individuals with Visual Impairment – Published by the International Blind Sports Association (IBSA), 1996
• Cycling Field for the Blind – Presented at the 5th Scientific Congress, Sydney Paralympics, 2000
• Basketball Court and Equipment Adaptations for the Blind – Presented at the 11th ICEVI World Conference, 2002
• Table Tennis to Showdown Table Conversion System – Presented at the 11th International Scientific Congress, Istanbul, 2013
